District 30 March Of Dimes Event!
Agents chained to
a
Honey Bucket for a good cause!
Because of
your efforts $13,000 of our $16,500 will go to research to improve the
health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant
mortality.
I would like to
offer thanks to all of our contributors but some special thanks are due to a
group of people that really stood out. First of all my wife, Marilyn, for
her tireless effort in putting this together. When we started this, she said
that $8000 was not enough of a goal, she wanted to double that amount. As a
good husband, I said ok but I really did not think we would get anywhere
near $15,000.
On Monday
morning as we were setting up a walker came by our building and asked what
we were doing. Marilyn told her about the Honey Bucket theme and her
response was "That is disgusting" We thought that we may be in for a long
two days, but when Channel 2 came to film and everyone started bringing in
donations we knew that we could make it.

We still have a
ways to go to get all the donated money in the bank but we are sure that
everyone will follow through on their commitments.
The people in
district 30 have shown their true colors when it counted. I am very proud
to be a part of the best team in the entire Farmers organization.
